THEIR MISSIONS INCLUDE EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE OF THE solar system, CELESTIAL BODIES, AND VARIOUS STUDIES THROUGH ADVANCED, FUSION-POWERED SPACECRAFT, KNOWN AS THE "SILVER FLEET. " STARFLEET FOCUSES ON RESEARCHING RESOURCES, WORKING IN FIELDS LIKE SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, AND MEDICINE.
WHAT IS STAR FLEET?
Starfleet Is a scientific deep space exploratory and resource service maintained by the United Nations, the Federation of Light & the United Industries. Its principal functions includes the advancement of human knowledge and understandings of the greater solar system we inhabit, including its celestial inhabitants. Starfleet's core duties include exploration & discovery, scientific & technological advancements, resources, goods & material acquisition, archeological, geological & biological studies & samples. While investigating the purpose of human existence. The fleet remains forever vigilant of any earth bound celestial threats, remaining as the planets constant defense network.

PLANETARY SCIENCES & GEOBIOLOGY
The sciences division was the corps of officers and crewmen within Starfleet who specialized in both scientific and medical research and control, aboard starships. Members of the sciences division specialized in sensors, research, theoretical and physical laboratory work, biological studies, and also worked as technicians, medics, and surgeons. Members of the sciences division belonged to such science departments as astrometrics, astrophysics, astrosciences, geophysics, hydroponics, medical, planetary geosciences, quantum mechanics, and stellar cartography.
