AERONAUT CORPS.
RESOURCES OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM
command division
The command division was the corps of officers and crewmen within Starfleet who specialized in command and control functions on starbases, aboard starships, and numerous Starfleet Command positions. Members of the command division are trained in leadership and tactical training allowing them to decisively take action in organizing and mobilizing Starfleet crews to perform missions. Command officers included most all of the admiralty, captains, executive officers, adjutants, and pilots.
AN ASTRO-HARVEST...
A WEALTH OF RESOURCES RESIDE WITHIN THE Inner Planets OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. FOR EXAMPLE; (Mercury, Venus, Mars):
CONTAIN PRECIOUS Metals (GOLD, PLATINUM, titanium), volatiles, and atmospheric gases harvested via robotic mining, thermal extraction, and high-altitude processing platforms.
Gas & Ice Giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune): Hydrogen, helium, and helium-3 collected through atmospheric scooping and orbital gas harvesters; ices and hydrocarbons mined from moons and rings. Moons, Asteroids & Outer Bodies: Water ice, oxygen, rare metals, and silicates extracted by autonomous drills, solar furnaces, and mass drivers for in-space construction and fuel production.
SOLAR SYSTEM CELESTIAL ASSETS
LUNAR BASE ONE
As THE primary base, ACTING AS A GATEWAY TO THE GREATER PLANETARY BODIES, THE MOON benefits from and controls the resources harvested from its CELESTIAL ASSETS. Its economy and GLOBAL might are directly fueled by this mineral wealth. Helium-3: Mined from lunar regolith using automated skimmers and microwave extractors; refined for fusion fuel powering the Solar System. Metals & Silicon: Extracted via laser and solar smelting; used to build spacecraft, habitats, and high-grade AI components in orbit. Water Ice & Oxygen: Harvested from polar craters by cryo-drills; converted into life support supplies and rocket propellant through electrolysis.
MARS & ITS MOONS:
Mars: Surface mining of metallic ores: Using robotic or human-assisted mining tools to extract and refine metals locally for construction of habitats and infrastructure.
Phobos: This moon is containS easily accessible veins of iron and nickel, bypassing the need for complex ore refinement. This has made it a major site for the efficient and rapid EXTRACTION OF RESOURCES.
Deimos: Mining stations on Deimos harvest valuable metal resources. These facilities also serve as critical spaceports and refueling stations for spacecraft traveling to and from Mars.
THE NEPTUNE CLUSTER:
Neptune: IN THE FIRST STAGE OF constructING A orbital stations to harvest the planet's abundant helium-3, a highly valuable fuel source.
Triton: RESEARCHERS also SCOUTED Neptune's icy moon, Triton, which features a subsurface ocean. flourishING by harvesting resources FOR A DISTANT SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
Lagrange asteroids: The asteroids sharing Neptune's orbit provide further resources for construction and boostS the GLOBAL economy.
THE URANUS CLUSTER:
Uranus: Similar to Neptune, STAR FLEET established helium-3 fuel harvesting operations in Uranus's atmosphere using robotic aerostats.
Ariel: A human base on this moon supervised the robotic fuel harvesting from Uranus's atmosphere.
Umbriel: This moon Is the site of a solar power array used to power the robotic fuel-harvesting operations in Uranus's atmosphere. The array was necessary due to the low amount of sunlight reaching the outer solar system.
Oberon: A R&D STATION IS CURRENTLY being constructed in Oberon's orbit for FUTURE deployment in Uranus's atmosphere.
OTHER CELESTIAL ASSETS:
Titan: During the moon's atmosphere AND surface provides a valuable energy source FOR BOTH TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS. AS WELL AS PROVIDING INDUSTRY WITH RARE ELEMENTAL GASSES AND FLUIDS.
Mercury's orbit (Vesta 3): This mining OPERATION, which harvestS resources from asteroidS. PROVIDING HUMANITY WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF PURE MATERIALS & IRON ORES.
Europa: Europa is THE LOCATION OF A FUTURE R&D site, where advanced technology and weapons are developed and likely utilize unique materials from the moon.
OPERATIONS DIVISION
The operations division is the corps of officers and crewmen within Starfleet who specialized primarily in the positions of Security, Engineering, and Ops. At times, other departments such as communications, helm, and navigation were assigned to the operations division. Members of the operations division may specialize in service functions on starbases, aboard starships, and at Starfleet Command as staff officers.
SCIENCES DIVISION
The sciences division was the corps of officers and crewmen within Starfleet who specialized in both scientific and medical research and control, aboard starships. Members of the sciences division specialized in sensors, research, theoretical and physical laboratory work, biological studies, and also worked as technicians, medics, and surgeons. Members of the sciences division belonged to such science departments as astrometrics, astrophysics, astrosciences, geophysics, hydroponics, medical, planetary geosciences, quantum mechanics, and stellar cartography.
